At his swearing-in ceremony, Patel called the opportunity to lead the nation’s premier federal law enforcement agency the “greatest honor” of his life. Kash Patel, who vows to rebuild trust in the nation’s top federal law enforcement agency, was sworn in by Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The ninth Director of the FBI promised to be transparent with Americans and restore faith in the bureau when he takes over.
