Why unprecedented IRS proposal at $600 then $10k? Schedule C & Schedule E tax, GOP Senators’ press

Why would Dems’ unprecedented invasive IRS proposal start at $600, then become $10,000? They later say it would not affect people who make $400k, but why not ban the IRS audit of people who make less than $400k? The tax transaction information collected tells you nothing about taxable income. They’ll just get flooded with a massive, massive number of individual and small business accounts for which they will have a dollar amount that means nothing. So how long is it going to take for them to say, “Well, you know, we need a little bit more information because we really can’t make much of this.”

Dems’ unprecedented invasive IRS proposal is all about control. It threatens privacy & security of small banks. They wanted to go after all of the people filing Schedule C and Schedule E and collect the money from them. Then they got caught at this, and they said, “Well, we’re not going to do that.” But they haven’t really changed. All they’ve said to explain “We’re not going to do that,” is “We’ll agree to let it go up to 10,000.”
