The exact moments NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox & MSNBC called the election for President Donald J. Trump
The news networks have made their call: Donald Trump is once again the President-elect of the United States. This time around, Trump has won nearly all the battleground states and also powered through the “Blue Wall” by the early morning hours of Nov. 6. He declared victory over Vice President Kamala Harris at 2:24 a.m. ET from his campaign headquarters in Florida. (All times Eastern.)
NewsNation—in partnership with Decision Desk Headquarters—made the call around 1:22 a.m., moments after the network also called the battleground state of Pennsylvania in his favor. Fox News was the first of the larger news outlets to make the call, announcing its decision at 1:47 a.m. The network was in lockstep with some of the smaller networks—including Newsmax and Scripps News—by calling the election for Trump after they called Pennsylvania.
