Man arrested in connection with string of murders in Tampa

Tampa PD Announces Seminole Heights Arrest: “We will be charging 4 counts of first-degree murder for Howell Emannuel Donaldson III”.

For 51 days, the neighborhood has been on edge after four seemingly random killings. The victims were killed while doing ordinary things, like waiting at a bus stop and crossing the street. “The real goal is to let the people of Seminole Heights be able to get a good night’s sleep,” police said.

Rosita and Howell Donaldson raised their son Howell Donaldson III in Tampa. In 2011, Donaldson graduated from Alonso High School in Tampa. Donaldson played as a guard for the school’s varsity basketball team. Donaldson has a profile at St. John’s basketball webpage.
