On 5/27/2022, Joe Biden claimed he applied to the Naval Academy in 1965 even though that date makes his story impossible, during his remarks at the Naval Academy graduation and commissioning ceremony in Annapolis, Maryland. Biden said he applied to Annapolis with a letter from then-Delaware Sen. J. Caleb Boggs, but the year he cited — 1965 — is the same year he graduated from the University of Delaware. The academy doesn’t offer graduate degrees. “I was told the Class of ’72 is here. I was appointed to the academy in 1965 by a senator who I was running against in 1972 — never planned it that way. I wasn’t old enough to be sworn in. I was only 29 years old when I was running,” Biden said. “He was a fine man. His name is J. Caleb Boggs,” the president went on. “I didn’t come to the academy because I wanted to be a football star. And you had a guy named [Roger] Staubach and [Joe] Bellino here. So I went to Delaware.”

Biden received five student draft deferments during his four years at the University of Delaware and subsequent three years at Syracuse University College of Law. After Biden graduated law school in 1968, he reportedly was deemed unfit for military service by citing childhood asthma. His memoir doesn’t mention the condition while describing his football exploits or his work as a lifeguard. A report released in November by his doctor also doesn’t mention asthma.

Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams laughed as a show host made fun of Joe Biden’s “Alzheimer’s.” Stacey Abrams appeared on the 85 South Comedy Show this week and laughed when the host made fun of Joe Biden shaking hands with a ghost. “[Biden} has talked about what that vision looks like,” Abrams said. The host interrupted Abrams, “He forgot it though – his (Biden’s) Alzheimer’s kicked in.” The comedy host was referring to Biden trying to shake hands with a ghost after delivering remarks last month. Everyone laughed, including Stacey Abrams. “He did! You didn’t see him? He was talking the other day and he turned around and there was nobody back there,” the host said turning his chair around. “I’ll be damned! I thought somebody was behind me!” On 4/14/2022, When President Joe Biden visited North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, the country’s largest historically Black university. On 5/26/2022, Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), Ranking Member of the Senate HELP Committee, criticized the FDA for its failure and unwillingness to address shortage concerns last fall, which has left families struggling to find formula on store shelves. He said, “The question I could not answer for my constituent was, ‘what took the FDA so long?’ “Why wasn’t action taken when the warning signs of this crisis started last fall? She asked if we knew what the FDA stands for. Before we could reply, she said it stood for ‘Formula Doesn’t Arrive.’ “Formula Doesn’t Arrive.

“Yesterday in testimony to the House you tried to shift the blame. The mail room didn’t deliver whistle blower complain, it’s your mail room and the FDA knew there was a problem even before the whistle blower sent the letter. “Yesterday you said you were new, but the President hired you and the Senate confirmed you because you had been there before. And your center director has been there almost a decade. Strike two. Yesterday you said the FDA could have done better. That’s painfully obvious, but where is the accountability?”

On 5/24/2022, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams complained about the record high voter turnout in Georgia’s primary elections. “We know that increased turnout has nothing to do with suppression,” Abrams said. She also said, Georgia is “the worst state.”
