On 4/13/2022, Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich asked, “did anyone know that the President was going to use the word “genocide” in his remarks? It seemed like a passing remark — or a passing reference in a broader conversation about inflation.” Jen Psaki replied, “Well, it’s — he’s the President of the United States and the leader of the free world, and he is allowed to make his views known at any point he would like.” Reporter followed up, “So it was not scripted? That wasn’t pre-planned?” Psaki replied “Again, I think we shouldn’t misunderstand who he is and where he stands on the totem pole, which is at the top.”
Another reporter aske, “three times now the President has made comments about the war that the White House or he himself subsequently said did not reflect U.S. policy … Does this not send a signal to the world that there kind of is an asterisk any — next to anything that the President says?”
Psaki: Well, when the President ran, he promised the American people he would “shoot from the shoulder” — is his phrase that he often uses — and “tell it to them straight.”
Fox News reporter asked,”you had mentioned in that statement that the truck inspections have led — that Governor Abbott has been conducting — have led to disruptions for the food and automobile supply chains and rising prices for families. So is the White House blaming Greg Abbott for inflation? ”
Psaki replied, “what we’re seeing with these unnecessary inspections of trucks transport — transiting ports of entry between Texas and Mexico are significant delays, … that is significantly impacting the local and regional supply chains to the point that trade associations, officials, and businesses are calling for the Texas governor to reverse their self- — this self-inflicted gridlock. I’d also note that CBP officers are very good at their jobs, and Texas DPS does not need to replace CBP at the southern border.
On 4/14/2022, a second bus from Texas arrived near the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., transporting more than a dozen immigrants as part of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s new plan to counter federal immigration policies during an ongoing border crisis. Migrants from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Colombia stepped off the bus a block from Union Station on First Street. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., applauds Texas Governor Greg Abbott for bringing migrants to Washington D.C. to bring attention to the border crisis to lawmakers. On 4/13/2022, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said it is “nice” of Texas to bus migrants from border communities to Washington, D.C. “These are all migrants who have been processed by CBP and are free to travel, so it’s nice the state of Texas is helping them get to their final destination as they await the outcome of their immigration proceedings – and they’re all in immigration proceedings,” Psaki said. Rep. James Comer said only 3% of the migrants would show up later.
Chuck Schumer said that White House closer to canceling student debt ‘than ever before’: on 4/13/2022, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) told activists that President Biden and his senior advisers are warming up to the idea of forgiving student debt, insisting they are closer to pulling the trigger “than ever before.” Schumer, who has repeatedly called for canceling up to $50,000 in student debt per borrower, predicted that’s where the president and his administration will ultimately land. On 4/14/2022, when asked by a reporter, Psaki said Biden has said he’s willing to cancel $10,000 in student debt per borrower, but he wants Congress to pass legislation to do so, which he would then sign.

Biden not scripted, shoot from the shoulder (not shoot from the hip). Ever closer to cancel student loan $10K not $50K. Texas border truck inspections.
