On 11/1/2023, Joe Biden traveled to Northfield, Minnesota to visit Dutch Creek Farms to boast about his administration’s investments in rural America. Joe Biden announced more than $5 billion in investments to rural communities across the country. The White House says of the $5 billion, $1.7 billion will go toward what is called climate smart agriculture.

“Inflation’s coming down … this is no accident, it’s Bidenomics!” Biden said. Biden also told the handful of supporters at the hog farm that Bidenomics is just another word for the American Dream. “Folks, ‘Bidenomics’ is just another way of saying the American Dream,” Biden mumbled. • But I also want to thank Governor Vilsack, former Governor Vilsack
• When a farmer sells his commodities normally, you have to go through the grocery store and the farmers get about 18 cents for every federal dollar, every dollar they had
• Some, some, but, but folks not only transforming rural communities, we’re transforming our economy
• Corporations that sell seed, fertilizers, and even farm equipment use their outsized market power to change farmers and charge them and ranchers unfair prices
• Folks, by dynamics, is just another way of saying the American dream
• Inflation is coming down at the same time, it’s down from 60%, it’s down 60% since last summer
• Core inflation is the lowest level in two years, with the lowest inflation rate of any major economy in the world
• Folks, all this is no accident, it’s by dynamics, and by the way we got more to do
• We’re investing millions in building new bio economy and with homegrown biofuels, which will contribute nearly $3 billion to Minnesota’s economy over every year, as it saves as an important market for family farms being able to see it
