“I Never Thought That I’d Be President” – Joe Biden Mumbles as He Meets with Civil Rights Leaders
On 8/28/2023, Joe Biden met with civil rights leaders on the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington. Biden and Harris met with Martin Luther King III, race hustler Al Sharpton and others at the White House. Biden mumbled through his remarks. “I said little earlier as I came in and sat down I think this is as serious of potential turning point for the negative as it was when turning point for the positive when your dad organized that march,” Biden said to Al Sharpton.

Biden lashed out at Republicans for working to remove materials from elementary schools during his remarks. “I never thought that I’d be president, let alone be president and having a discussion on why books are being banned in American schools!” Biden mumbled.

On 8/28/2023, Joe Biden was spotted walking into the Oval Office with his physician Dr. Kevin O’Conner after he was seen coughing up a lung. Biden repeatedly coughed into his hand as he greeted children at Eliot-Hine Middle School in Washington DC. Imagine the headlines if Trump repeatedly coughed into his hand while he greeted children on the first day of school.

The White House press pool spotted Joe Biden walking into the Oval Office with his personal physician after his coughing fit. A reporter asked Karine Jean-Pierre about the physician’s visit. “The press pool spotted the president walking into the Oval Office with his personal physician Dr. O’Connor a few minutes ago. Did you have an appointment? Did he have a health concern?” a reporter asked KJP. Karine Jean-Pierre couldn’t provide an update.

Biden tells back-to-school students “the hardest thing is to come back after three months of not doing any work.”
He is presumably speaking from personal experience since 40% of his presidency has been spent on vacation.

On 8/28/2023, Joe Biden delivered remarks at a reception to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Biden once again falsely claimed ‘white supremacy’ is the greatest terror threat to the United States. “The U.S. intelligence community has determined that domestic terrorism rooted in white supremacy is the greatest terrorist threat we face in the homeland,” Biden said without providing any data or evidence whatsoever.

Biden also lied about his work advancing civil rights. Biden claimed he “literally, not figuratively, talked South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond into voting for the Civil Rights Act before he died.” There are several problems with this remark, the most glaring of which is that Thurmond voted NAY on the Civil Rights Act. Not only did Thurmond vote “NAY”, he filibustered the Civil Rights Act for over 24 hours, longer than any other opponent to the legislation. And Thurmond didn’t die until 2003, almost 40 years later. Joe Biden was only 21 at the time. He wasn’t elected to the US Senate until 8 years later in 1972 (first term began in 1973). Joe Biden never marched with civil rights activists. He was too busy lunching with segregationists like James Eastland. This hasn’t stopped Joe Biden from telling tall tales about his involvement in the civil rights movement.

Biden forgets the name of his own DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas:
“The secretary of homeland security! The guy who took the job, uhh — thank you for taking the job, pal.”
