The new Morgain’s inspiration Island opened today. It claims to be the 1st accessible water park in the world.

The park is free to anyone with special needs (physical and cognitive disabilities)
It has wheelchair accessible rides, waterproof RFID wristbands to help keep track of kids, and the ability to change water temps on certain rides for those sensitive to cold.

At least 56 million Americans have some type of disability. Although the park has limited capacity, this is a great step towards helping a small fraction of them.
