On 7/19/2022, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked where Joe Biden has been the last couple days since he got back from Saudi Arabia late Saturday evening. Biden had no public events scheduled for Sunday , Monday or Tuesday, according to his public schedule. “What, exactly, has [Biden] been doing yesterday and today?” a reporter ask Karine Jean-Pierre. “So, he’s been in meetings,” Jean-Pierre said stuttering out of nervousness. “He’s been meeting with senior staff, uh he’s been meeting with, uh, staff.” “He’s just been very busy dealing with the issues of the American people,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.
On 7/19/2022, during White House Press Conference, ABC’s Karen Travers asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about DC Mayor Bowser’s recent plea to the Biden Admin to stop undocumented immigrants from being bussed into DC. Jean-Pierre said bussing illegal aliens into Washington DC is “shameful.” Karen Travers asked Karine Jean-Pierre what kind of message the Biden Regime has to the governors bussing the illegals to DC and New York. “We believe it’s shameful that some governors are using migrants as a political tool,” Karine Jean-Pierre said. On 7/17/2022, Democrat District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser said she wants to stop undocumented immigrants from coming to D.C., but had no word on the border, during a segment on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” with Margaret Brennan. Bowser is angry that migrants are overwhelming the homeless shelters in DC and she wants the federal government to intervene. “I fear that they’re being tricked into nationwide bus trips when their final destinations are places all over the United States of America,” Bowser said. Earlier this year Texas began dispatching buses to the southern border to transport the immigrants to Washington D.C. Governor Greg Abbott announced during his press conference in April that his state will begin to use charter buses to ship migrants to Washington, D.C., as part of his strategy for the overwhelming influx of undocumented immigrants.
