Q: hearing from foreign leaders? KJP: don’t have any read out. Foreign leaders now will talk Trump

CBS’s Nancy Cordes: “Has the President been hearing from foreign leaders about the outcome of this election and have they expressed any concerns to — to him? What has his message been to them?”

KJP: “So — um — I can’t, I don’t have any — um — any calls to read out about the President’s speaking to foreign leaders. It’s only been two days, as I just mentioned — uh — and so, don’t have anything for you to — to — to read, to read out — uh — but it’s very much, you know, what I just said moments ago about his message to world leaders about how important it is to have our participation, American’s leadership on the world stage and what that means, and we’ve been able to see that for the last three-plus years, whether it’s Ukraine, whether it’s the Middle East — uh — whether it’s Indo-Pacific — uh — a lot of that — making NATO stronger was certainly the President’s leadership, and that’s what other allies and partners, that’s what they rely on us on, and so, we’re going to continue to do that. That’s going to be our focus in the next 74 days. I just don’t have anything to read out, but our message is America is going to continue to be there. I can’t speak to what the administration, the next administration is going to do.”

AP’s Zeke Miller: “When the President entered office, he said he said he went around and traveled around the world and he’s always recounted this anecdote of, you know, I’d say America is back and then they would say but for how long? The world now has that answer. It was four years and two days. Does the president feel like he has let down America’s allies and partners that now someone with a very different worldview than him will now be in the Oval Office?”

KJP: “So, look, I’m not going to get into what the president-elect is going to do, not going to do. I’m not going to do that. Uh — what I’m going to say is the President’s message is — is going to continue to be the same — uh — American leadership matters, how we conduct ourselves on the global stage matters — uh — you know, we are indispensable — uh — nation on the world stage … cannot speak to what the next administration is going to do. I can only speak to what the President was proud that he was able to do over the last, you know, three-plus years, and that’s going to continue to be our focus
