Shermichael Singleton: Personally, I have a ton of issues with the FBI that go beyond my politics. I frankly don’t trust it as an agency because of its history of targeting Black leaders and activists. This isn’t even about Trump’s potential nominee to me because some things supersede politics. This is an agency that misused its surveillance authority to spy on activists in the BLM movement, and regardless of your thoughts on BLM as a whole, misusing their power to spy on Americans is egregious, but common for them when targeting certain Americans. So what’s to stop them from spying on you next? Yes, there are good agents, but let’s not pretend it’s a paragon of justice.
