On 6/5/2022, Joe Biden’s Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo told CNN’s Jake Tapper that she’s not involved in the baby formula shortage response. 74% of baby formula products are out of stock in the US today. Several states have over 87% shortage of baby formula. “Why does it seem the Biden administration is consistently playing clean-up on these problems that are playing out exactly as many experts forecast they would?” Jake Tapper asked Secretary Raimondo. Raimondo ignored the question and Tapper followed up: “When did you first learn of this [baby formula shortage]?” “Uh, I first learned about it, you know, a couple of months ago…” she replied. “So, April?” Tapper asked. “Uh, yes, probably April. I’m not involved in the administration’s response here…” Raimondo replied.
Joe Biden and the Democrat officials working in his administration claim they only found out about the baby formula problem in April. Abbott, the infant formula maker, warned of a shortage back in October 2021 after their Michigan plant was shut down. Not one person in the Biden Admin has taken responsibility for the baby formula crisis.
On 6/3/2022, VP Kamala Harris delivered remarks at the 90th Annual Meeting of the US Conference of Mayors in Reno, Nevada. More inspiring words from Kamala Harris. She had these inspiring words for the nation’s mayors: “And I know that each of you is up to this challenge because – you – are- the mayor,” she said cackling.

On 6/3/2022, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said her connection to her “indigenous heritage” was awakened while protesting the Dakota Access pipeline at Standing Rock Indian Reservation. Ocasio-Cortez made the comments in a reply on Instagram. The Congresswoman said she wanted to connect more with the ancestral roots of the Taíno Indians and that American Indian tribes welcomed her as family. “One of the things that first started awakening and connecting me in a deep to my indigenous heritage was connecting to the Lakota Sioux at Standing Rock,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “It really just clicked that this is nuts, like, the grace that they extended to say ‘no, you are a relative,’ was really formative for me. While we may not be and come from the same exact lineage, there is a commonality to that ancestry. And it’s important for us to recognize that we were raised and we were told growing up that we were extinct, that Tainos don’t exist, and it’s really important for Puerto Ricans to understand that that narrative is being challenged right now.” Ocasio-Cortez has also made claims in the past to have Jewish, European, and Black ancestry. Her comments have a similar air to Senator Elizabeth Warren’s in 2018 when she claimed to have indigenous ancestry. However, she has since apologized for making such outrageous claims.
