Eric Trump took the stage with wife Lara before his father and said the crowd waiting to get into Madison Square Garden was far bigger than the capacity.

‘Almost 200,000 people tried to get into this event tonight,’ he told the roaring crowd. He also railed against critics who have ‘tried to destroy my father’.
