#shorts On 11/30/2022, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer when asked if the Biden Admin will try to shut Twitter down for posts it doesn’t like. Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Karine Jean-Pierre to explain what she meant when she said the Biden Admin will be monitoring Twitter, “when are you guys going to delete the White House Twitter account?”

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: Why would we do that?

Doocy: Well, you’re saying that you’re keeping an eye on Twitter because it might not be a suitable platform. So why use it?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: And so, look, I don’t have anything to share on any policy or any changes that we will be making. We have multiple platforms, as you know, that we utilize to communicate with the American people.

The Biden Admin this week said they are monitoring Twitter after Elon Musk promised to allow free speech. Earlier this month Joe Biden slammed Elon Musk for purchasing Twitter. “Now what are we all worried about: Elon Musk goes out and buys an outfit that sends – that spews lies all across the world…There’s no editors anymore in America How do we expect kids to be able to understand what is at stake?” Biden said to pool reporters.
