On 5/19/2024, Joe Biden pandered to black voters at the annual NAACP Freedom Fund dinner in Detroit, Michigan. As usual, Biden’s speech was full of lies and gaffes. BIDEN: “I never imagined in the 2024 there’d be folks waiting to ban books in America! What in God’s name is that about? Not only that, they’re trying to erase black history! Literally!” None of that is true — literally! Joe Biden never participated in the civil rights movement. He has told a version of this lie many times.

At one point Joe Biden tried to trash Trump and the January 6 protestors and it went horribly wrong. “He calls the erectionists who stormed Capitol Hill ‘patriots,’” Biden said. “Because of your vote, it’s the only reason I’m standing here as President of the United States of America,” Biden said. Biden told the crowd of blacks one of his favorite lies: “I got involved in civil rights when I was 15!” Biden never participated in the civil rights movement. He has told a version of this lie many times.
