On 10/24/2022, Joe Biden again repeated “no one earning less than $400,000/year will pay a single additional penny in federal taxes.”
On 10/27/2022, Joe Biden traveled to Syracuse, New York to deliver remarks on Micron’s plan to invest in CHIPS manufacturing. Biden said, “They’re going to build factories the size of — this is not hyperbole — the size of 40 football fields. Big enough to fit the Carrier Dome four times inside it and still have space left over. And we’re going to — this is amazing what’s — what’s going to happen here. You guys have no idea yet. It’s going to run — (laughter) — and it’s going to run entirely on renewable energy.
I’d like to introduce some of my family and friends. And I don’t know where they are right now, but my — you know, I — I married a beautiful woman from Skaneateles Lake, who was at Syracuse. I met her on Spring Break and fell head over heels in love with her and gave up a starting job on the football team at Delaware to come up every weekend because I couldn’t stay away from her. (Laughter.) And her — her brother, Michael, is here. Where — where’s the family? “
Actually Biden had half-time scholarship based on financial need and that he graduated 76th out of a law school class of 85.
On 10/24/2022, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was called out for Joe Biden’s non-stop messaging on the economy. Earlier Joe Biden told all kinds of talking points while he delivered remarks from the DNC headquarters. Biden claimed, “We the Democrats are the ones that are fiscally responsible. Let’s get that straight now, okay?” At the briefing, Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich called Jean-Pierre, “Today Biden appeared to be countering some GOP messaging on the economy and he told people that Republicans like to call Democrats big spenders and people should get the facts, but the facts don’t seem to be exactly how he’s painting it on some of these issues,” Heinrich said. “He has claimed repeatedly that the Administration reduced the deficit, but if you break it down, spending was tied to the pandemic, those programs expired and that brought down the deficit and that deficit reduction was spent on canceling student loans,” Heinrich added.
She continued, “And then on the jobs claims that he made, he said that President Trump was the first since Hoover to lose jobs during his administration but any claim that he had created 10 million new jobs, but in reality those jobs had just been added back and the BLS said only 514,000 jobs have been newly created. So, how are people supposed to take this…messaging…seriously when…this feels like smoke and mirrors?”
Jean-Pierre delivered a word salad and blamed Republicans. Jacqui Heinrich pushed back. “So why doesn’t [Biden] lean more on that language than continuing to repeat this ‘we reduced the deficit’ thing that feels like, sort of irrelevant?”
On China Hunter Biden Scandals, Spox John Kirby says he doesn’t have anything to say. On 10/26/2022, a reporter asked National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby, “So I’ve got a question about Saudi Arabia and a question about China … And on China, this is a very simple question but it’s an enduring point of uncertainty: Does the President’s son still co-own a company with China’s government? And if not, can you provide some basic transparency about who bought that stake and how much money?”
MR. KIRBY: I don’t have any for you on your second question. But let me — let me address your first.
On 10/26/2022, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, “Was the White House in any way surprised by the performance of the lieutenant governor in the debate? I know that people here — including not just the President, but others — have been in touch with him. But was there any surprise, in terms of how he performed, given the auditory processing, given the high profile of the evening, and that sort of thing? Was it a surprise to the White House at all?
MS. Jean-Pierre: So, look, it’s — it’s been a busy day, as you know; you guys have been watching the President. He gave a speech on junk fees, which is going to be incredibly important to the American people, ser- — saving American people $24 billion. So that was something that he was certainly focused on. The Israeli President is here, who he’s hosting, as you all know.
