On 7/29/2022, during press conference, a reporter asked Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, “Mayor Bowser has called on the National Guard to come to DC and help respond to migrants being bussed here, while the White House has accused Republicans of using these migrants as a political pawn. What’s your reaction to that? Is that what’s going on here?”
McCarthy: Not at all. So they’re concerned about migrants coming to America illegally within their cities? Have they ever been to the border? They’re concerned about bringing National Guards in after what was happening here during the summers? And people’s safety was concerned that they didn’t think the national guard should be there then? It just shows the hypocrisy of the mayor and the hypocrisy of the White House. Why don’t they secure the border? Because what has happened because of their actions every single community in America is now a border city. This is a national crisis. Fentanyl is now the number one killer of Americans between the ages of 18 and 45. This is their policies which they created that created a national security issue throughout the entire country. The hypocrisy is that they won’t go to the White House to try to make him secure this border.

It’s all the same talking points and it’s all the same ignoring something that is absolutely against what the American people want… As if there weren’t massive amounts of fentanyl killing Americans getting seized at the border. As if people were not getting raped on their dangerous trek to America. It is all extraordinary and it’s all dereliction of duty.”
On 7/30/2022, during a speech in Arizona, Investigative journalist Lara Logan told the audience the Biden regime is handing out social security numbers to illegal aliens at the southern border, “You look around you and you know they don’t actually believe in citizenship. And now when people come across the border illegally, I have this confirmed from border patrol agents who are actually, physically doing this, they get given a Social Security number. They get assigned a Social Security number when they cross. I’m not sure how many of you are aware of that. And if you really want to know where the cheating starts, it’s long before you get to the polls. Think about it, it starts with the census. It starts with counting illegals in the census.”
On 7/28/2022, during press conference, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about DC Mayor Muriel Bowser’s request of the activation of the National Guard to help deal with the influx of illegal aliens being bussed into Washington, DC. Jean-Pierre admitted DC can’t handle the influx of illegal aliens and she claimed Republicans are “using migrants” as a political ploy, “Republicans are using migrants who are coming here for … They’re coming here for a better life and they are being used,” said Jean-Pierre. “So the White House’s preference would be for small towns in Texas and Arizona to have to take care of these migrants instead of a large metropolitan city like Washington, D.C.?” Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre. Peter Doocy suggested perhaps Biden should *close the border* and Karine Jean-Pierre shifted the blame once again to Republicans.
On 7/28/2022, DC Mayor Bowser Requests Activation of National Guard to Deal with Influx of Illegal Aliens Being Bussed in From Texas.
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) requested the activation of the National Guard to help deal with the influx of illegal aliens being bussed into Washington, DC. Earlier this year Texas began dispatching buses to the southern border to transport the illegal immigrants to Washington D.C.
