Biden: Read polls! You guys are all the same, 92% support. Cheney to DOJ Trump called witnesses.

On 7/12/2022, President Biden became agitated and approached a reporter after he was asked for his response to a recent poll showing a majority of Democrats do not want him to seek re-election in 2024. “Mr. President, what’s your message to Democrats who don’t want you to run again?” the reporter asked Joe Biden after he walked away from the lectern at the congressional picnic at the White House. Biden, walking adjacent to the reporter, paused in his tracks, telling the reporter “they want me to run” and for him to “read the polls.” The reporter noted that roughly two-thirds of Democrats say they do not want Biden to run again, according to a New York Times survey. “Read the polls, Jack, you guys are all the same,” Biden continued as he slowly began walking up closely to the reporter and the camera. “That poll showed that 92% of Democrats, if I ran, would vote for me.”

Both the reporter and Biden reiterated their claims to each other, with the reporter again asserting that a majority of Democrats do not want Biden to campaign in 2024, and Biden refuting the statistic, insisting it was quite the opposite. According to the new poll, Biden’s approval hit 33% with 64% of Democrats wanting to replace him with someone younger. President Biden is facing an alarming level of doubt from inside his own party, with 64 percent of Democratic voters saying they would prefer a new standard-bearer in the 2024 presidential campaign, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll, as voters nationwide have soured on his leadership, giving him a meager 33 percent job-approval rating. As for Biden’s statistic of 92%, that number does appear in the poll, but is not attributable to a question about whether he should or should not run in 2024. Instead, the statistic is in reference to the fact that 92% of Democrats would still vote for Biden in a hypothetical rematch against former President Donald Trump.

The interaction comes as the media has highlighted numerous polls that show Biden is in hot water with American voters, including voters of his own party. The numbers Biden and the reporter spoke of came from a New York Times/Sienna College poll conducted between July 5 and 7. In this particular situation, the reporter was in fact correct in his assessment that a majority, or around two-thirds, of Democrats do not want Biden to seek the presidency again in two years’ time. The poll revealed that a staggering 64% of Democratic voters agree that someone else should take the mantle in 2024.

On 7/12/2022, Liz Cheney revealed the January 6 panel notified the Justice Department that Trump called one of its witnesses who has not testified yet. According to Cheney, the witness did not take Trump’s call and instead told their lawyer about Trump’s attempt to speak with them. “After our last hearing. President Trump tried to call a witness in our investigation. A witness you have not yet seen in these hearings,” Cheney said. “That person declined to answer or respond to President Trump’s call and instead alerted their lawyer to the call. Their lawyer alerted us. And this committee has supplied that information to the Department of Justice,” Cheney added. “Let me say one more time, we will take any effort to influence witness testimony very seriously,” she warned.

Fox Business’s Cheryl Casone said “wow, much hotter than expected” as inflation hits a new 40-year high, during a segment on Fox Business’s “Morning with Maria” with Maria Bartiromo.

On 7/12/2022, Joe Biden says U.S. Has “lowest [inflation] rate of almost every major nation” (which isn’t true).
President Joe Biden says he is willing to work with Iran and restart the Iran nuclear deal after former President Donald Trump withdrew from the deal. Biden has argued that the deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, will constrain Iran’s nuclear program. This is a 180-degree departure from the policies of his predecessor, Donald Trump, who pulled the US out of the JCPOA and sought to restrain Iran’s activities by imposing tight economic sanctions. The Biden administration has for the most part looked the other way as Iran has flouted the sanctions, exporting ever more oil and greatly increasing its military spending. One of Biden’s first acts upon taking office was to overturn Trump’s decision.
