On 1/27/2022, Joe Biden delivered remarks on the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, “I’ve made no decision except one: The person I will nominate will be someone with extraordinary qualifications…That person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court.” With Clarence Thomas, there would be two black 2/9=22% representation, higher than 14% black population in the U.S.

Justice Breyer said, “these people want to decide how we live our lives.”
