RFK: When my uncle was president 2% … Today 66%; My approach radical transparency, IMPROVE care

Chairman Mike Crapo at Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s hearing before the Senate Committee on Finance:
“You have been accessible to members and staff on both sides of the aisle — and have demonstrated strong commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.”

“When my uncle was president, 2% of American kids had chronic disease. Today, 66% have chronic disease,” says HHS Sec.-designate RFK Jr.
“We cannot live up to our role as an exemplary nation — as a moral authority around the world — when we’re writing off an entire generation.”

RFK Jr: My approach to administration of HHS will be radical transparency… I’ve spent many years litigating against NIH and its sub-agencies on FOIA issues trying to get information we the taxpayers pay for and often getting back redacted copies. That should not be the case.

HHS Secretary-designate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.: “We need to figure out ways to IMPROVE care — particularly for elderly, for veterans, for the poor in this country.”
