Oklahoma State Senator Regina Goodwin (D-Tulsa) has sparked outrage after a shocking display of arrogance and entitlement during a routine traffic stop. Goodwin was pulled over by Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputy Freddie Alaniz for running two stop signs and speeding, but instead of taking responsibility like any law-abiding citizen, she chose to argue, deflect, and play the victim.

“Ma’am, I’m not going to ask you again. Can I get your driver’s license, or can I take you to jail on running a stop sign?” Alaniz asked Goodwin. “I’m not going to ask you again. It’s not for debate.” When asked to hand over her license—a simple, lawful request—she refused more than 10 times, forcing the deputy to take further action. In typical Democrat fashion, Goodwin accused the officer of escalating the situation, deflecting responsibility rather than acknowledging her own defiance.

Initially, the deputy intended to issue only a verbal warning. However, Goodwin’s combative attitude and blatant disregard for the law ultimately led to her being placed in handcuffs. Even then, she avoided jail time, walking away with a citation and a court date.
