H1B Visa Fraud has reached a level of sophistication that the program cannot handle:
Alyson Le Grange: “It’s been found that the H-1B program is now being abused. There has been a sharp increase in fraudulent efforts.
The US Immigration Agency has raised serious concerns about the H-1B visa lottery system. According to authorities, some companies are manipulating the system to gain an unfair advantage.
There are applicants whose names have been submitted by multiple companies and that artificially boosts their chances of winning a visa.
It’s been found that there were 780,884 applicants for H-1B visas in this year’s computer generated lottery, 61% more than last year. This doesn’t look organic.
There have been suggestions to reform the H-1B visa program, including the lottery system.
Others have called for stricter enforcement of the program’s rules and to penalize employers who violate them.”
H1B=1 big Loophole
Democrat strategist marvels at how Hispanics in South Texas had the same views on immigration as ‘cranky old white guys’:
Jeffrey Pollock: “So what Hispanic voters did in many ways across this country is vote with their wallets. But there’s also it is also clear when you think about what happened in a place like South Texas on the border, that sure, that the economy is a part of it. But also there are clear hostility about immigration, which to many of us in blue states and sitting in a place like New York seems like, well, how can that be possible?
I would sit in focus group was with Hispanic voters. They would talk about immigration and you would swear to God you were sitting in a room with a bunch of cranky white guys from Missouri, not Hispanic voters, when you were talking about immigration.”
Maybe it wasn’t the ‘old white guys’ who were cranky, but the people judging them for merely standing up for themselves.
