Repeat question, BIDEN confused: do I ask next question? African will a billion people (already 1.4B

On 5/23/2024, Joe Biden held a joint press conference with President William Ruto of Kenya in the East Room. The Kenyan president arrived at the White House on Wednesday for a three-day visit. The greeting ceremony on the South Lawn earlier Thursday was a disaster. Biden struggled with simple directions and could barely walk. Biden called on a list of pre-approved reporters during the joint presser. After calling on a Regime approved reporter from McClatchy, Biden tells the him that he can only ask one question. At one point Joe Biden called Kamala Harris the first black “president.” “Our nation’s first black vice president, President Kamala Harris,” Biden said.

A reporter is forced to repeat her question for Biden, who proceeds to read his entire answer from pre-written notes in his binder. Very sad!

BIDEN (confused): “WHOA!”
KJP: “This concludes the press conference. Thanks, everybody. Thanks you, everybody. This concludes the press conference. Thank you. Thanks, everybody.”
*shuffles away*

Biden, slurring from his binder: “We’re kind of occupied around the world but we’re also engaged in the Congo in that neighborhood!”

BIDEN (confused): “Okay, next, I, uh — do I ask the next question, as well?”

Biden calls on a reporter from a pre-selected list at his “press conference,” then tells the reporter he can only ask one question

Biden tells the Kenyan president “the African continent will have a billion people not too soon.”
(Africa’s population is already ~1.4+ billion)
