Q: already massive strain at border A: take border very seriously since day one

#shorts On 5/3/2023, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, “We’re already seeing signs of, you know, massive strain at border facilities and especially in the Rio Grande Valley. And, you know, Title 42 is ending next week. How confident is the President that the fixes that he’s put in place are going hold, given that we’re already seeing, you know, strains in the system?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: … this is something that the President has been taking very seriously from the beginning of his administration. And we have asked Congress to take action. We have asked Congress to meet us even halfway as we put forward a legislation on the first day of his administration — a comprehensive immigration piece of legislation … Secretary Mayorkas is going to hold a press conference tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. So, I just — I would recommend or suggest — a friendly suggestion to listen in on his press conference on the multi-agency comprehensive response that we’re having today.

And — and so, I’ll leave it there. Look, I can’t say what it’s going to look like after — after May 11th. But what I can say is that this is an administration that has taken the challenges that we see at the border very seriously since day one.

Karine Jean-Pierre continued gaslighting the American people by claiming Joe Biden has taken the border crisis “very seriously” since day one. Title 42, a Trump-era program forcing migrants seeking asylum to remain in Mexico is expiring next week. Illegal immigration is already out of control thanks to Joe Biden. More than 6 million illegal aliens have crossed over the US border since Joe Biden was installed in January 2021.

KJP told reporters that Joe Biden takes the border crisis seriously even though 700,000 to one million illegals have assembled at the border ready to surge across the US southern border. A massive migrant caravan of busses full of illegals is already en route to the United States. KJP said everything is fine. “I can’t say what [the border] is going to look like after May 11th, but what I can say is that this is an administration that has taken the challenges that we see at the border very seriously since day one,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.
